It then generates a report with a plagiarism score and a list of sources where matching text was found. The plagiarism checker feature searches billions of web pages and documents to find matching text. On top of that, it can give you writing suggestions that can help you lower your plagiarism score. However, it does a good job finding copied content, including overused phrases. Grammarly is primarily known for its grammar and spelling checking capabilities, so it may not be top of mind when it comes to plagiarism detection. The response should be received within 48 hours. Then, the bot asked for my email address, where the Grammarly Support Team would reach out to me. Unfortunately, though available 24/7, Grammarly chat support does not offer live chat integration. It quickly responded again, now with a useful gif to support its answer: ![]() Then, I tried typing a full-sentence question to test the chat bot’s comprehension. Here, I tried using the buttons to ask the chatbot questions. This prompts the chat to search the knowledge base for related keywords and return a relevant response. The chat suggests buttons for common queries, but you can also type your concern freely. Instead, clicking on “Contact Us” leads to the support ticket submission page, which also contains the chat widget on the lower right. The chat widget is not immediately available on the knowledge base page. I can easily look for topics using the big search bar or browse through categories, including account basics, billing, and tutorials. Unfortunately, Grammarly doesn’t offer phone support and live chat support, so there are little chances for me to conveniently talk to a human directly. Here, I have three options: 1) search the knowledge base, 2) use the chat widget, or 3) submit a support ticket. There is also priority email support for Business users. If the knowledge base isn’t enough, you can submit a request or use its 24/7 chat support.
